In order to measure the Grouser height, only use a Depth Gauge. Clean all dirt from between the grouser area to be measured. Take into account any metal deformation which can cause readings to differ. Place the depth gauge across the grousers and push the pin to the bottom to measure the distance x in the diagram below.
