Release Notes 5.20

The v5.20 release includes a number of Undercarriage bug fixes and improvements, with the biggest changes in this version being further enhancements to the GET, Dump Body and General Inspection application.

These changes include a new dashboard view so you can view by equipment or by implements. The search and favourites have also been overhauled. The implement setup has been improved with a more user friendly process flow and to include a third observation type. This new type is evaluation only and is used when an inspector needs to enter an evaluation and not an actual measurement.

Your implement history is now accessible from an intuitively designed page. This version includes history by implement and the next release will include history by equipment.

In the Undercarriage module the recording of actions has seen further improvements to keep the process as clear and simple as possible, with step by step processes that remove confusion. The reports have also seen some tweaking to better allow for user preferences of mm or inches for unit of measure. We have also made some changes to make the application work better on iPads and other tablets. In particular the undercarriage setup screen has been altered as these devices could not display the mouse over information for component selection.

In the user and customer administration you can now enter jobsite addresses that do not exist in Google maps.

There are many other small bug fixes and enhancements as part of our continuing commitment to providing our users with the best Undercarriage and Wear Surface fleet management tool available.

The team is very proud of the improved functions and layouts we are releasing and we are more than happy to give you a tour of the ever improving Undercarriage and GET/General Inspections applications. If you would like a guided run through or help with specific features, don’t hesitate to contact us.

Android Mobile Application

Once the upgrade has been complete you will need to update your Mobile App. As always, please ensure that all your inspections are synced before the upgrade and we advise users to uninstall the App before downloading and installing the new version.

Undercarriage & GET for IOS

With the TrackTreads Undercarriage App and the GET, Dump Body and General Inspection App being available on the App Store, your applications should update automatically. We do advise syncing all inspections before the update and if there are any post update issues please log out of the mobile app and reconnect as an initial troubleshooting step.
