Measuring Shoe with Depth Guage and Ultrasonics
Depth Gauge
Use the depth gauge placed across the shoe as shown in the image. Push the pin down to the surface of the shoe to measure grouser height.
Ultrasonic
Place the probe on the grouser bar at least 1/3 of the distance across the grouser bar. Measure the thickness.
