Measuring Dual Pin Track Pad – Roller Path through Pin Strap, Roller Path Full Pad Thickness, Drive Lug Forward and Reverse and Track Pad Pitch
Track Pad Dual Pin – Roller Path – Pin Strap
- Measure using the Ultrasonic Tool, the thickness of the Pin Strap area of the Roller Path in
first position 1 and 6 – use the worst reading. - Then measure point 3 and 4 and use the worst reading
Track Pad Dual Pin – Roller Path – Full Pad Thickness
- Measure the thickness through the Track Pad Roller Path in position 2 and 5, and then use
the worst reading.
Track Pad Dual Pin – Drive Lug – Forward and Reverse
Measure the thickness through the Drive Lug in both the forward direction and the reverse direction, as well as across the top of the lug.
Note these readings to determine whether forward or reverse are worse.
Track Pad Dual Pin – Pitch – Use the Ruler/Tape Measure – Measure 4 complete Links. Ensure where
the start point is the same as the end point.
