Managing Frame Components and Inventory

This guide explains how to create, inspect, edit, and manage frame components in the TrackTreads inventory system.

1. Overview of Frame Management

The TrackTreads inventory system allows users to:
 – Create new frame components.
 – Inspect frames on the web or mobile platform.
 – Update existing frame systems.
 – Perform actions on frame components.

2. Accessing Inventory

1. Navigate to the Undercarriage section in the TrackTreads system.
2. Select Inventory to open the Search Inventory page.

3. Use the search function to locate parts, such as:
    – Chain,Frame, Idler

3. Creating a New Frame System

To add a new frame system:

1. From the Task List, select Frame to Inventory.
 2. This will open the Setup Undercarriage in Inventory page.
 3. Follow these steps:
    – Select Customer and Jobsite.
    – Ensure the Create New System option is checked.
    – Choose the Make and Model of the frame.
    – Click Next to proceed.

4. Setting Up Frame Components

1. On the Frame Components Setup page:
    – Configure the components for each side of the frame.
    – Assign the appropriate parts to the left and right sides.
 2. Save your changes once the setup is complete.

5. Updating an Existing Frame System

1. On the Setup Undercarriage in Inventory page:
    – Locate the existing system you want to update.
    – Make the necessary adjustments (e.g., replacing components or updating configurations).
 2. Save your changes to finalize the update.

6. Inspecting Frames

On Web:

1. Navigate to the Inventory section.
 2. Use the search function to find the desired frame component.
 3. Click on the component to view its details.

On Mobile:

1. Open the mobile app and log in.
 2. Access the Inventory section.
 3. Search for the frame and inspect its details.

7. Performing Actions on Frame Components

1. From the Undercarriage section, navigate to Search Inventory.
 2. Search for the desired component (e.g., Chain, Frame, or Idler).
 3. Perform the following actions as needed:
    – Create a New Part: Add a new entry for the component.
    – Edit Information: Update the existing component’s details.
    – Replace Components: Assign new parts to the frame system.

8. Troubleshooting Tips

– Ensure the correct Customer and Jobsite are selected when creating a new system.
 – Double-check the Make and Model details before saving.
 – If components are missing, verify they are listed in the inventory database.
