5.17 – The Actions Update:
The Along with bug fixes, report customisations and improved site branding options, the main focus of this release has been the completion of the ‘Recording Actions’ system. Recording actions such as component repairs and replacements or the replacement of entire chain or frame systems is now much clearer, simpler and quicker. You can change out single components or you can change multiples at the same time. For example, quickly and easily replace all the rollers on the right side in just a few clicks.
To find and test out the new Actions screen, simply click the ‘Record Action’ button on the Equipment Details Tasks panel and start exploring.
The system makes every attempt to ensure that replacements are validated against the existing equipment history to avoid conflicting dates and meter readings. Actions can also be entered retrospectively as long as there is only one inspection after the date of the action. Inspections already entered into the system when an action is recorded will be update as required.
Actions can also be recorded against Chains and Frames that are currently in your inventory, so workshop maintenance on swing chains for example can be fully recorded and referenced in costing reports later.
Android Mobile Application
Once the upgrade has been complete you will need to update your Android Mobile App. As this is a very big upgrade in the backend of the Mobile App, please ensure that all your inspections are synced before the upgrade and we advise users to uninstall the App before downloading and installing the new version.
TrackTreads for IOS
The IOS App is being upgraded independently of the rest of the system with bug fixes and enhancements being released nearly every week. Keep an eye out for the latest version in the App Store to ensure you are running the latest version..
