1,500Hrs Undercarriage Inspections

Track Pad Wear

New 1.76″

  • Using a straight edge measure roller path wear on the crawler shoes. Measure as many shoes as you can from each side
  • Check for any broken or damaged track pads..
  • Inspect retention hardware. Replace any damaged hardware immediately.

Measure Track Pitch – New 23″

  • Using track pitch gauge R56246F1 measure the track pitch of five shoes.
  • Using a measuring tape measure the track pitch over ten shoes

Inspect Load Rollers

  • Check load rollers for any damage or abnormal wear.
  • Check condition of thrust washers.
  • Check pin retainers and lock collars. Replace if damaged or missing.
  • Check for fresh lube and condition of lube line and fittings.

Inspect Rear Idlers

  • Check Rear Idlers for any damage or abnormal wear.
  • Check condition of thrust washers.
  • Check pin retainers and lock collars.
  • Replace if damaged or missing.
  • Check for fresh lube and condition of lube line and fittings.

Inspect Front Idlers

  • Check Front Idlers for any damage or abnormal wear.
  • Check condition of thrust washers.
  • Check condition of Bushing.
  • Check pin retainers and lock collars. Replace if damaged or missing.
  • Check for fresh lube and condition of lube line and fittings.

Final Drive

  • Inspect drive sprocket for damage and abnormal wear.
  • Check between crawler frame and drive sprocket for visible signs of lube.
  • Check Propel transmission oil level.
  • Inspect the propel shaft and output seals on the transmission for leaks. From the inside of the crawler frame. NOTE: Confined Space Required
