Level 2 Midlife 12,500Hrs

In addition to the 1500Hrs. Inspection complete the following.

Replace all sliders

• Remove tracks from top of crawler frame.
• Clean top of crawler frame and replace all sliders.

Parts Required

Front Slider Part# R82256F1
Rear Sliders Part# R82256F2

Front Idlers

  • Remove front idler.
  • Once Idler is removed remove Brass Bushings.
  • Inspect sleeves in Idler I.D. 13.5100”
  • Install new bushings if the Idler sleeves are within spec.
  • Inspect front idler shaft.
  • Re-install front idler in crawler frame.
  • Purge front idlers with grease before returning to service.

Exchange idlers available if needed.

Load Rollers

  • Measure and record load roller O.D.
    • New 31″
  • Measure load and record load roller bushings I.D.
    • New 8.514″
  • Replace load roller thrust washers & bushings
  • Swap Load Rollers 1&2 with 3&4 and 5&6 with 7&8
  • Purge load rollers with grease before returning to service.

Rear Idlers

  • Measure and record O.D.
    • New 41″
  • Measure and record bushing.
    • New 11.034″
  • Replace Bushings if required
  • Replace Rear Idler Thrust washers
  • Purge rear idler with grease before returning to service.

Structural Repairs

  • Inspect lower rails for damage and cracking
  • Build up inner rail faces and machine.

(Grind flat if machining equipment is not available.)

Trim Drive Lugs on Crawler Shoes

  • Trim drive lugs using gauge
  • Gage Part# R52894D1

Trim Toe Nails on Crawler Shoes

Gage Part# R52708D1

Final Drive

  • Inspect drive sprocket for damage and abnormal wear.
  • Check between crawler frame and drive sprocket for visible signs of lube.
  • Check Propel transmission oil level.
  • Inspect the propel shaft and output seal on the transmission for leaks. From the inside of the crawler frame.

NOTE: Confined Space Required.

  • Trim flow material from final drive tumblers.
