GET – Warranty Tracking

The warranty tracking allows warranty programs to be defined at a global level, and a program can then be applied to any asset, when the asset is delivered. The system will then track progress against the asset in terms of residual warranty. This can be viewed at each asset level by both the supplier and the customer.

Navigate to Warranty Type Setup

To access the Warranty Type Setup page, go to Get & Wear Surfaces > Setup > Warranty Tracking.

Warranty Type Setup

To set up the warranty, you can either select a preexisting warranty type to auto-fill the details or create a new one, which will then be added to the list of available options. When creating a new warranty, be sure to include the warranty type name, usage in hours and days, cycle count, and status. Click Save/Update when you’re finished or choose Reset to clear all the fields.

You will see a confirmation of the created warranty on the right side of the screen.

You can find the newly created warranty at the bottom of the list alongside the other pre-existing warranty types.

Dashboard Indicator

On the dashboard a column is included on the extreme right to show the warranty in terms of the residual amounts.

Screen to setup warranty against implement

This screen allows the setup of the warranty program against the specific implement when it is delivered. To access this, double click on the tile “Warranty Status” in the tasks bar on the Equipment Details Screen.

Popup to view current warranty status in Implement Details

This icon on the Asset details screen allows the user to view the current status of the warranty on the asset. This can be colour coded, green (Expiry a long way off), orange (Will expire in the next 3 months or 1500 hours) and red (Due to expire in 7 days 100 hours). Clicking the icon will then display a popup which shows the detail of the residual warranty calculations.

Click on the Add New and the following fields will appear, allowing a user to apply a warranty. Then click on Save.

Once a warranty has been applied the following colours will be seen on the Equipment Details Screen.

Grey – No warranty Applied

Green – Warranty Applied

Orange – Warranty Applied and will expire in the next 3 months or 1500 hours

Red – Warranty Applied and will expire in the next 7 days or 100 hours or already expired
